Feedback Helps Us Improve
Understanding Our Participant Evaluation Results
and whether the educational materials were effective. Participants also report whether they learned more about alcohol and drugs and whether they know where to seek help when needed.
These results help Virtually Fortified identify strengths in our programs while also identifying opportunities for improvement. Because the evaluations come directly from course participants, they provide valuable insight into the experience of individuals who have actually attended our classes.
Our evaluations don’t only ask participants what they liked. Participants are also given an opportunity to identify areas they believe could be improved. We review this feedback when evaluating our procedures, administrative processes, virtual course delivery, and future class offerings.
Some participants have expressed concerns about the age of certain curriculum materials, statistics, and instructional videos. Certain offender education curriculum and instructional requirements are established by the State of Texas and cannot be independently changed by an individual provider or instructor. We nevertheless value this feedback and recognize the importance of providing an educational experience that is relevant, engaging, and informative.
Participant feedback is reviewed alongside our operational and regulatory responsibilities. When feedback identifies an issue that is within our control, we use it to evaluate communication, scheduling, course delivery, and administrative procedures. When concerns involve state-established curriculum or regulatory requirements, we document those concerns and distinguish them from areas the provider can independently change.
Publishing these results also allows prospective participants, referral sources, courts, probation departments, attorneys, and other interested parties to better understand how participants evaluate the quality and effectiveness of our online offender education programs. We believe that transparency truly matters.
Professional Service & Regulatory Compliance
Virtually Fortified provides state-regulated offender education programs. We strive to provide participants with professional communication, knowledgeable instructors, clear expectations, and an engaging educational experience.
At the same time, participant satisfaction cannot override regulatory requirements. Our instructors and staff must follow applicable requirements concerning attendance, instructional hours, course participation, documentation, and successful completion. As a result, we may not always be able to make an exception requested by a participant or family member.
Professionalism and compassion do not require us to disregard compliance, and compliance does not prevent us from treating participants with dignity and respect. Our goal is to provide both.
Why We Publish Our Evaluation Results
Online reviews can be helpful when choosing a provider, but they reflect the experiences of individuals who independently choose to post publicly. Our course evaluations provide an additional perspective because feedback is collected systematically from participants who actually attended our programs.
By publishing these results, we give prospective participants access to a broader picture of the Virtually Fortified educational experience. We believe people should have meaningful information about our programs when deciding whether Virtually Fortified is the right provider for them.
Results shown above are based on 806 participant course evaluations collected during 2025–2026. Percentages represent participant responses to the corresponding course-evaluation questions. Individual participant information is not published.
